Is it really free?
Yes, for up to 3 properties, with every tool and unlimited users. Your own team is paid however you pay them now, with no fee. Jobs paid through CheckedOut carry a 8%, minimum $5 service and payment fee, card processing and GST/HST included, charged when you approve the work.
I already have cleaners. Can I use it just for my team?
Yes. Invite them and run your schedule, time clock, checklists and guides without ever touching the marketplace. On every plan you pay your own people however you pay them now, fee-free; anyone who chooses to be paid through CheckedOut is paid like any job (a 8% service and payment fee).
What counts toward my plan?
Your active properties. Free covers up to 3; Pro is $8 per property a month for the first 10, then $6 (USD). Users are unlimited, and archived listings don’t count.
Can I pay a pro I found here outside CheckedOut?
Not in their first 12 months: pros you found on CheckedOut are paid through CheckedOut on every plan, or after a one-time $199 conversion fee on Pro. Reviews, damage claims and payment protection cover only jobs paid through CheckedOut, and arranging payment outside it to avoid fees can get an account closed.
Which platforms do you sync with?
Hostaway syncs listings and reservations directly. Airbnb, Vrbo and Booking.com connect with the calendar link each one gives you, and so do Guesty, Hospitable, OwnerRez, Lodgify, Hostfully, Smoobu and any other calendar that exports iCal.
How do pros get paid?
Through Stripe, straight to their bank. The host's card is charged when they approve the work (or automatically 72 hours after it's sent, if they don't review it), and the pro keeps 97% of the job price. Card details never touch our servers.
How do I know a pro is any good?
Ratings on CheckedOut come only from paid jobs, so they cannot be padded. A Vetted mark means the pro passed an ID check and a background check and showed insurance or a trade licence.
