Here is exactly what CheckedOut does to keep both sides safe — no vague promises, just the actual mechanics.

Every account is tied to a verified email. Team members join only through owner-issued invite links that expire in 14 days.
- 2Earned reputation
Ratings, reviews and job counts on a pro’s profile come only from real, completed CheckedOut jobs. Nothing can be bought or imported.
- 3Evidence on every job
Checklists capture photo proof with server-recorded timestamps; clock-in and clock-out record time and location. Both sides keep the record.
- 4Protected payments
Cards are held and charged by Stripe. Money moves only after the host approves finished work, and every charge gets a numbered invoice.
- 5A human when it matters
Disputes, refunds and account issues are handled by our team at support@trycheckedout.com — with the job’s evidence record in front of us.
Every completed job leaves a downloadable, timestamped record — photos, checklist results, times on site — formatted so a host can attach it directly to an Airbnb or insurance claim, and a pro can prove the state of the work when they left.
What we don't claim: we don't currently run criminal background checks — reputation here is earned through verified work, and we'd rather tell you that plainly than overstate it. Identity and payout verification for pros is handled through Stripe's onboarding when payouts are connected.
