How CheckedOut works
Short, honest answers. Can't find yours? Email support@trycheckedout.com — a person reads it.
Watch it work
Live walkthroughs of the four flows that matter most.
Getting started
Set up your workspace
Create an account at trycheckedout.com/signup, add your first listing under Listings, and attach a checklist to it. That’s enough to post your first job.
Bring your own cleaner
My Team → Add member creates an invite link. Your cleaner opens it, sets a password, and sees only their jobs, checklists and chat.
Or find a pro
Find a Pro searches by area, service and rating. Every rating you see was earned on real CheckedOut jobs. Message first or send a job straight to them.
Switch between Host and Vendor
One account can run both sides. If you also work jobs, use the switch at the bottom-left of the sidebar to flip views.
Jobs & scheduling
Post a job
Job Postings → Post a job walks one question per screen: service, listing, time, repeat, area, budget. Leave the budget on quotes to compare offers.
Recurring jobs
Set a repeat (weekly, every N days…) and each completed job automatically books the next one as a pending offer to the same pro.
Preferred pros
On each listing, pick preferred pros. New jobs are offered to them first, first-come-first-served, before going to the marketplace.
Reschedule or switch vendor
From the Schedule row menu. Reschedules reset a confirmed job to pending so the pro re-confirms the new time.
Checklists, forms & evidence
Build a checklist
Forms & Checklists → New checklist. Sections and items, with per-item “required” and “photo” toggles. Attach it to one listing or all of them.
Photo evidence
When a pro checks off a photo-required item, the photo is stored with a server-recorded timestamp. Nothing can be backdated.
Forms
Forms capture structured answers — damage reports, inspections, supply counts — with photos, signatures and GPS where granted.
Download a claim record
Any submission opens as a printable document (View → Download PDF): property, times on site, every answer and full-size timestamped photos. Attach it to an Airbnb or insurance claim as-is.
Payments & invoices
How charging works
Add a card once under Integrations → Payments. When you approve finished work, the card is charged the pro’s rate plus the service & payment fee — card processing included, itemized on a numbered invoice.
What pros receive
100% of their agreed rate, paid out through Stripe once payouts are connected. Tips are always 100% the pro’s.
Invoices
Every charge mints a numbered invoice with tax lines both sides can print. Pros see the same document as receipts.
How the fees work
Marketplace jobs: hosts pay an 8% service & payment fee, pros pay a 3% marketplace fee and keep 97%. Invited your own pro? Hosts pay 3.9%, the pro pays nothing. See trycheckedout.com/pricing for the math.
